SD Program Helps Child Care Workers

Eight child-care providers in South Dakota will be recognized at a luncheon on Tuesday in Pierre by the
South Dakota Department of Social Services, Office of Child Care Services
.
The eight women were the first to complete the
South Dakota Child Care Apprenticeship Program
, which was established to reduce staff turnover in child-care centers and to increase the supply of well-trained child-care workers.
