People Protest Closing Of Winston-Salem State's Child Care

Winston-Salem, NC -- People gathered today to protest the closing of Winston-Salem State Univeristy's Eearly Childhood Center.


The center is shutting down because of the cost.


Center supporters say people would pay to send their kids there, if the university marketed the center.


Parents, community members and state lawmakers protested the closing. They say the the center is a school that helps children get an early start on their education.
