WVU-Parkersburg Gets Federal Money for Child Care

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (AP) - The federal government is helping West Virginia University at Parkersburg make it easier for people with young children to pursue a college degree.


The university has received a $47,981 grant from the U.S. Department of Education to provide campus-based child care services. U.S. Senators Jay Rockefeller and Carte Goodwin announced the funding Thursday.
