PHOENIX -- An east Valley hospital now offers a day care program for mildly sick infants and children.
According to a news release from Chandler Regional Medical Center, "Child care advocates with pediatric training care for the children so that parents can go to work with peace of mind knowing their children are in a nurturing, caring environment under the management of a registered nurse."
The day care, which is open between 6:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, costs $40 for six hours or more of care and $30 for fewer than six hours. Parents with an AHCCCS card, a KidsCare card or a Health Care Connect card receive a 50 percent discount, officials said.
